AMZ IPTV is winding down
The community side of AMZ IPTV — the public checker, Global Search, shared subscriptions, Daily Discoveries and M3U aggregation on iptv.tutoje.cz and iptvchecker.cc — is closing. This is planned, not sudden. Announced 9 September 2026.
Timeline
- now → 30 Nov 2026 Everything works normally.
- 1 Dec 2026 Read-only. No new scans or submissions. A self-service page opens where you download a copy of your data.
- 1 Jan 2027 iptv.tutoje.cz and iptvchecker.cc go offline. iptvchecker.cc will redirect to iptvlookup.com. The full source code is published as a download + torrent.
iptvlookup.com stays online
The privacy-first checker at iptvlookup.com keeps working regardless — default-private, no public catalog, no cross-user search. Only the community aggregator is closing.
Why
- I don't want to stay attached to a project that could realistically cost me — or my family — a fine or a prison sentence over redistributing streams and scraping. That's a risk I'm not willing to carry any more.
- Honestly, IPTV as a topic stopped interesting me a while ago.
- Large parts of the site are broken and I don't want to keep patching them.
- It runs about 1300 CZK/month for 3 VPS, which no longer makes sense for something I'm not enjoying. Offshore hosting was considered and rejected, purely on cost.
Your data
From 1 December 2026 a self-service page lets you download a copy of your data (your subscriptions, saved lines, votes, donation and Premium records).
On 1 January 2027 the entire database is permanently deleted — every subscription (private and public), accounts, logs. Nothing is retained. There is currently no plan to hand any data to a successor.
Premium & supporters
If you bought a year or more of Premium — I'm sorry. I always treated that money as support for the project, not a service you were owed, and there is no fund to refund from. If this genuinely causes you a problem, message me on Ko-fi or Discord. You will be able to download a record of your contribution. Thank you for backing it — it mattered. 💙
Want to run it yourself?
The complete source code is published on 1 January 2027 as a public download + torrent — code only, no database, no user data, ever. You'd start from an empty instance. No warranty, no support, and running an IPTV checker/aggregator is entirely your own legal risk. A magnet link and checksum will appear here on release.
Thank you
AMZ IPTV started on 8 February 2025 as a small project called “IPTV Checker”, first mentioned on the Stream Collecting Server and running off a home server. Later in 2025 it moved to a Contabo VPS, and to a fresh one a month or two ago.
To everyone who has been here across that year and a half — some of you almost from day one — who ran scans, contributed lines, filed bug reports, hung out on Discord, and chipped in to keep the servers on: thank you. This project was only ever as good as the people around it, and that was you. It's been a good run.
